Site Manager/ Foreman Position
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager/ Foreman to lead our teams on a large-scale construction project in Tralee, County Kerry.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that will require strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Project Planning: Develop and manage daily and weekly work plans aligned with the project programme.
* Resource Management: Coordinate plant, labor, and material requirements to avoid delays.
* Operations Sequencing: Sequence operations efficiently, including excavation, formwork, rebar installation, and concrete pours.
* Plant Management: Plan plant movement and manage access routes to avoid site congestion.
* Workforce Allocation: Allocate tasks to the workforce, ensuring optimal productivity.
* Logistics: Manage and maintain plant usage logs and ensure efficient deployment.
* Quality Control: Ensure works are carried out to the required design specifications and standards.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with RAMS and site-specific safety requirements.
* Site Reporting: Maintain daily site diaries, capturing work progress, workforce levels, and plant usage.
* Concrete Management: Record concrete pour details, including delivery times and batch information.
* Issue Resolution: Report any delays, issues, or design conflicts to the Project Manager.
* Variation Tracking: Track and log variations for commercial report to the Project Manager & Qs.
Requirements:
* Experience: 5 years' experience of planning, directing, and coordinating projects on site.
* Qualifications: A related construction qualification, either HNC, Degree, or similar.
* Skills: Strong IT and communication skills.
