Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and strategic support to management, preparing budgets, developing financial forecasts, and overseeing the month-end close process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Analyse financial performance against key business metrics and provide insights to management.
* Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
* E nsure Revenue compliance across all aspects of the business including prem taxes, VAT, RCT.
* Collaborate with department heads to track and manage departmental budgets.
* Support decision-making processes by providing financial insights and recommendations.
* Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* CPA or CMA certification preferred.
* Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role.
* 3 to 5 years accountancy experience, ideally within the construction sector.
* Proficiency in IT (MS Excel, Accounting Software).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
