Job Description:
On behalf of our pharmacy client, we are sourcing a Retail Buyer to join their team.
This role is based on-site in Limerick but will require travel to their chain of pharmacies within Co. Limerick & Co. Clare.
We are looking for an experienced Retail Buyer with a proven track record in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support store managers of our three high-street stores with day-to-day operations.
* Manage purchase orders and stock control for premium fragrance and cosmetic houses.
* Review stock levels on a weekly basis to formulate orders for suppliers or arrange transfers between branches.
* Manage stockholdings, including overstock, out-of-stock, and seasonal variations, with consideration given to minimizing working capital investment and individual store needs.
* Maximize margin while maintaining competitiveness.
* Maintain EPOS stock files, including product setup, suppliers, cost price, selling price, and margin.
* Generate and issue reports to management, including sales reports, margin reports, month-end reports, and ad-hoc reports.
* Coordinate promotional activity with suppliers, including instore promotions and customer days.
* Source and coordinate special offers and stock for monthly promotional activity.
* Coordinate relevant promotional material and communication of instore promotions across the group.
* Coordinate online social media activity and website updates.
* Agree and review cosmetic sales targets per store/clerk.
* Develop close relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders, including management and finance teams.

Requirements:
* 3+ years retail and purchasing experience.
* Premium brand cosmetic, sales, or management experience.
* FMCG, Cosmetic, or Pharmacy experience is an advantage.
* EPOS experience and Microsoft Excel proficiency.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to understand financial data and KPIs.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the business.
* Ability to generate ideas and market products effectively.
