The Role Principal Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Consultant, working on projects of varying scale and type in the areas of renewable energy (On-Shore Wind, Offshore Wind, Solar, Battery Storage and Anaerobic Digestion), Food & Drink Industry, EPA licensed sites, Construction, and others.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in project managing Environmental Impact Assessments EIAs and the environmental planning system in Ireland, particularly with respect to the renewable energy (On-Shore Wind, Offshore Wind, Solar, Battery Storage and Anaerobic Digestion) and food and drink sector.
You will have the autonomy to complete excellent work your way, in accordance with the company vision to 'Provide Excellence with a Sense of Humour'.
There will be regular contact and support from other senior consultants, the Environmental and Managing Directors.
Competencies The required candidate must have the following knowledge and attributes: • A third level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or related discipline.
• Experience in project managing large EIA reports • Respected within the Irish Environmental Industry such that our clients will be impressed and reassured by their presence.
• Personable - build a strong rapport with our clients, peers & authorities on-site & on-phone.
• Ability to project manage multi-disciplinary teams and multiple EIA projects simultaneously.
• 5+ years' relevant experience preferred.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to deliver a project to a satisfied client that believes we exceed their expectations.
• Highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
• Be self-motivated and solution driven • A full clean driving licence.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellence in delivery in the following areas: • Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIA), report writing and co-ordination.
