Senior Quantity Surveyor Excel are delighted to partner with a leading Irish residential developer in hiring an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee all QS activities on their South Dublin site on a permanent basis. This role involves managing cost processes, procurement, subcontractor payments, and risks, while ensuring timely completion of the monthly QS cycle. Key Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor Report to the Regional/Managing QS and take full responsibility for QS activities on-site. Collaborate with internal and external teams during budget preparation. Manage cost reports, cash flows, and commercial review documentation. Oversee procurement and manage subcontractor packages. Identify and mitigate risks, promoting a value-seeking mindset. Present commercial updates to senior management monthly. Manage and develop the project QS team. Candidate Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor 7-10+ years of post-graduate experience in PQS or contractor's office. Residential/house building experience preferred. Proficient in modern construction methods and relevant IT tools (Cubit, Cost-ex, Microsoft Office). Strong analytical, communication, and multitasking skills.
