Senior Physiotherapist Role
The Senior Physiotherapist will promote, develop and implement good health initiatives amongst our client population. They will design and deliver physiotherapy programs for adults with intellectual disabilities. In collaboration with teams, the Senior Physiotherapist will provide physiotherapeutic interventions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver tailored physiotherapy programs for adults with intellectual disabilities.
* Work collaboratively with teams to provide comprehensive physiotherapeutic interventions.
* Promote and implement good health initiatives amongst clients.
Requirements:
* National Third Level Qualification in Physiotherapy or equivalent.
* Registered member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
* Registered member of CORU.
* Non-national qualifications must be accredited by the ISCP and evidence provided.
Applicant Requirements:
* A minimum of three years post-qualification experience as a Physiotherapist.
* Experience working with clients with physical and intellectual disabilities.
* Demonstrate professional knowledge, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work independently.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in wheelchair and seating provision.
* Experience with orthotic assessment and provision.
* Will to undertake further training as required.
