Full-time, permanent position Location: Longford Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience Benefits:Pension contribution scheme We are seeking a Human Resource Manager to lead and manage all aspects of the HR function within a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Reporting to the General Manager, with a dotted line to the HR Director, this role will be responsible for employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and driving strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Provide expert advice and support to the management team on HR issues and employment law changes.
Lead the annual talent cycle, ensuring the attraction and retention of top-tier candidates across all departments.
Oversee recruitment, employee engagement, and HR policies in alignment with company objectives.
Act as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, conflict resolution, and absence management.
Ensure compliance with employment regulations, including Working Time Directive adherence and record-keeping.
Proactively manage Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER), including liaising with trade unions.
Drive diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives, fostering a positive and forward-thinking workplace culture.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years experience in an HR Management role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance.
Excellent ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
A strategic mindset with a pragmatic and professional approach.
Strong communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to challenge and drive change.
