Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
Renewable Energy Consenting Monitoring Specialist:
* Develop and implement the monitoring function under the EU Renewable Energy Directive.
* Design and manage systems, including web-based portals, to streamline renewable energy consenting processes.
District Heating Centre of Excellence Specialist:
* Support district heating deployment through guidance and strategy development.
* Provide expertise on business models, procurement, and risk management for district heating projects.
Requirements:
* Degree (Level 7 NFQ) in Engineering, Science, Business, or Economics.
* Minimum 4 years' relevant experience (including postgraduate studies).
* Strong communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
* Knowledge of energy efficiency, renewable energy, or district heating.
* Experience with Irish consenting regimes or public sector processes.
* Expertise in project management, grant programme delivery, or stakeholder collaboration.
