Radiographer Panel Permanent and Temporary Radiology Department Mercy University Hospital Radiology Department is committed to delivering the highest quality, patient-focused imaging services.
We currently provide General and Emergency Radiography, CT, Fluoroscopy, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound services, and we are a designated clinical placement site for MSc Radiography students from UCC.
Positions are currently available for Radiographers to join our Radiography team.
Purpose of Role: To undertake the appropriate radiographic management of patients, provide safe and effective patient care at all times in the clinical setting, and to act in accordance with the roles and responsibilities of a Radiographer, in order to deliver consistent, high-quality, patient focused services.
This role reports directly to the Radiographic Services Manager(s).
Applicants must: Possess a BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent).
Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU ( https://www.coru.ie/ ).
Possess the requisite knowledge and professional ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the role.
Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU.
Annual Registration: On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the relevant division of the Radiographers Register as maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU.
The MUH reserve the right to create a panel for this post from which permanent, fixed term and specified purpose vacancies of a full or part time duration may be filled.
