About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Director to lead our Energy, Power, and Renewable sector in Ireland. The successful candidate will oversee the design, development, and execution of engineering projects aimed at advancing renewable energy solutions and optimizing power generation.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversight of project planning, design, and implementation for energy projects.
* Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
* Technical leadership in developing and optimizing renewable energy systems and power generation infrastructure.
* Integration of emerging technologies into existing and new projects.
* Leadership and management of a team of engineers.
* Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
* Performance reviews, coaching, and professional development of team members.
* Primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding engineering projects.
* Preparation and delivery of technical reports, presentations, and updates.
* Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
* Development and management of the engineering budget.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.
* Master's degree or higher preferred.
* Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification highly desirable.
* Engineering experience, particularly in managing large-scale energy projects.
* Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies, power generation, and energy storage systems.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
