At ARI, we’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to spearhead the refurbishment of our existing stores—from concept to completion. You’ll be at the heart of design, construction, and fit-out, ensuring our stores are not only revitalised but optimised for success.
In this role you will• Lead projects from initiation to execution—bringing visions to life!• Establish and manage CapEx budgets to keep projects on track.• Monitor and report on progress, ensuring seamless execution.• Identify risks and create mitigation strategies. Responsibilities• Management of a project that will incorporate 3rd parties including designers, consultants, contractors and specialist suppliers.• Interaction with various project stakeholders including vendors, airport authority, local partners, internal project teams, management and team members. Ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project• Liaise with retail teams to understand specific requirements and make sure the implementation meets their expectations.• Working with daa on the delivery of the Design and Construction of a project to an agreed standard and within the time and budget constraints.• Prequalification of External consultants and contractors in collaborate with procurement. • Preparation of briefs and RFP documents for the appointment of external consultants.• Analysis of tender submissions, negotiations with 3rd parties and making recommendations/preparing board papers for management/board.• Monitoring (and taking corrective action where required) of the project progress and agreed programme.• Driving alignment across departments by driving issue resolutions, action registers and escalation when required. • Preparation of reports on a regular basis for management.• Preparation and maintenance of project plans• Presentations to Management/3rd Parties Qualifications• Project Management skills with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing and delivering construction projects.• Experience in Cost and Quality control.• Experience in reviewing and analysing tender returns.• Experienced in negotiating with contractors and dealing with issues on site.• A detailed understanding of the design and construction process.• Ability to work on their own initiative.• Must be skilled in using MS Project, Excel, Word and Power Point.• Knowledge and understanding of building regulations.• Good written and verbal communication skills.• Ability to interact and manage various stakeholders- Consultants, Contractors, Airport Authority, Local Authority, Customs, Security, Head Office, Internal departments, etc.• Strong background in preparation of and documentation.• Formal Project Management Certification such as PRINCE or PMP.
