Noel Group is currently recruiting for a Human Resources Executive to join the team at a well-established hotel in County Cork. This is a full-time, Monday to Friday role, with some flexibility possible. The HR Executive will oversee day-to-day HR activities and report to the General Manager and Group HR Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily administrative duties within the HR department.
* Foster a culture of employee engagement through transparent communication and effective management.
* Handle employee queries promptly and efficiently.
* Support Heads of Department with recruitment, training, performance management, employee development, and talent planning.
* Oversee recruitment processes, from advertising and screening to onboarding.
* Ensure new hires are provided with necessary documentation and training, ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experience.
* Maintain employee records and ensure compliance, aiming for a paperless HR environment.
* Ensure the hotel meets all statutory training requirements and arrange refresher training as needed.
* Assist with the disciplinary process and employee grievances, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
* Submit weekly payroll data to the payroll department.
* Lead the delivery of any group-wide HR projects/initiatives within the hotel.
* Maintain regular communication with Heads of Department and the management team.
* Monitor and manage absenteeism.
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualification in Human Resources Management (or working towards one).
* At least 3 years’ experience in an HR role.
* Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and best practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict management abilities.
* A proactive, emotionally intelligent individual who can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
