As Communications Assistant, you will assist the Communications Specialist in the organization and creation of internal and external content, events management, and local communication initiatives with key stakeholders.
Role & Responsibilities
* The job holder will work with the communications specialist to create, schedule, and post content to our social media channels.
* Create and update the content on our Intranet and office screens.
* Use Salesforce to add, update, and review new and existing stakeholders for our various facilities in IRL/UK.
* Work with the communications specialist to create and manage internal and external events.
* Manage ad hoc communications with the Meath Waste-to-Energy surroundings area, e.g., local newsletter information and advertisements.
* Use initiative and innovative thinking to create fresh ideas for external communications with various audiences.
Qualifications & Experience Required
* Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
* 2+ years experience in a similar role.
* Experience with social media creation and posting.
* Experience with events management.
* Previous Salesforce experience desirable.
* Previous corporate brand work desirable.
* An understanding of different online audiences and algorithm preferences.
