We are on the lookout for a highly competitive and dedicated Accounts Payable & Payroll Executive with relevant experience to join our team here in the Aloft Dublin City.
Located in the heart of The Liberties, Aloft Dublin City is one of Dublins uniquely styled hotels.
Our hotel consists of 202 bedrooms, expanding meeting space, gymnasium, F&B outlets together with an on-site Gastro Pub.

This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Hotel Accountant; RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE; To process accounts payable ensuring vendor accounts are reconciled and suppliers paid in timely manner.
To process weekly payroll and ensure all employees are paid correctly.
Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts in an accurate and timely manner.
Reconcile the balance sheet and ensure account balances are supported by appropriate documentation.
Coding and posting Bank transactions each day and reconciling weekly.
To assist the External Auditor with annual financial audit and prepare adequately for same.
Safeguard the assets of the hotel.
Assisting with the Accounts Receivable function when needed.
Preparing & issuing Daily Business Reports when required.
Working as part of part of a finance team where we assist and support each other on a day to day basis.
Supporting other departments in their finance related duties so that they can carry them out in an accurate, consistent and legally compliant manner.
Ensuring that high standards of work performance, conduct and appearance are met at all times.
Carrying out any other reasonable duties that may be assigned by your immediate manager or executive team member.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: 2-3 years experience in a similar role Proficiency using Microsoft Office especially Excel Experience with Sage 200 and Sage Micropay an advantage Previous experience using Opera, Micros and in the hospitality industry would also be beneficial.
Experience with a procurement system would be advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail.
Previous experience would be beneficial but training will be provided.
A good command of both oral and written English.
Relevant paperwork/Visa entitling candidates to work full-time in Ireland is an essential requirement.
