We are currently seeking to recruit a Legal Secretary to join the Housing department of a well known Dublin law firm.
This is a great opportunity to work in a progressive professional organisation with a busy, high-profile team. This role would suit an experienced legal secretary with experience in a firm with a high volume of conveyancing work.
1. This role is 4 days in the office, one day work from home (upon successful completion of probation - 5 days onsite prior to this).
2. Dublin 2 offices close to DART and red Luas line.
Key Responsibilities will include:
3. Providing a professional, efficient and proactive secretarial service at all times
4. Answering phones, taking messages, logging daily calls, follow up on calls
5. Digital dictation and production of all documents, correspondence, reports and presentations, contracts, agreements, accurately and in a timely manner
6. Diary management
7. Arranging meetings internally and externally and confirming with attendees in advance
8. Managing the receipt and distribution of title documents on ATR for various banking institutions from time to time
9. General administration and other ad-hoc work as required from time to time
Required experience:
10. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Legal Secretary in a property environment.
11. Dicta-typing and PA/secretarial duties for a number of fee earners
12. Strong MS office
13. Case management experience (Partner for Windows & i-manage would be a distinct advantage)
14. Excellent administration skills and an ability to prioritise work is essential
15. Ability to work on own initiative with excellent organisational skills
16. A high degree of diplomacy and professionalism required with a pleasant and positive disposition
17. Good telephone manner and excellent communication skills, both written and oral
