Cpl Healthcare in partnership with our client Western Care Association are seeking experienced social care leaders for two Person In Charge positions within the organization. We are seeking a Person in Charge for full-time posts in Castlebar (Residential Services) and Ballyhaunis (Residential Services).
Western Care Association is committed to providing person-centred services using personal outcome measures as its quality measurement. The primary role of staff working with individual service users is to support each person in achieving their priorities as identified through the individual planning process.
Candidate Requirements:
• Knowledge of HIQA requirements is essential.
• Proven experience of working with people on the autistic spectrum is desirable.
• The successful candidate will have experience in facilitating and supporting people who have high and/or complex needs.
• A genuine understanding and interest in working alongside people to effect positive opportunities and change in their lives in a meaningful way.
• The ability to listen, see, and respectfully advocate for and on behalf of the individual with regard to their needs, preferences, rights, and dreams.
• Excellent communication skills and a clear understanding of teamwork with motivation to deliver high-quality facilitation, working alongside individuals, their families, and other disciplines.
To be eligible for this post, candidates must have the following:
• A minimum level 7 degree qualification in Social Care, or equivalent, which makes them eligible for CORU registration.
• A minimum of 3 years managerial or supervisory experience in the social care sector is required.
• A relevant management qualification.
