Job Purpose Summary
The aims of the Credit Management Services department are to:
* Provide professional risk management to maximise sales while protecting the business from unnecessary commercial risks.
* Timely collect balances owing to the company to maximise profits and fund future sales.
* Review customer deductions to remove negative cash flow implications and risk to the business.
Role Responsibilities:
* Monitor and work unassigned emails received via the Credit Helpdesk from internal and external customers, adhering to agreed guidelines and SLAs.
* Manage a workload of low-value/risk accounts as the main point of contact, completing credit reviews, chasing payment, etc.
* Drive query resolution through close liaison with all other internal departments.
* Review and upload/download information/files from customer/bank portals and enter or save information onto agreed systems or folders, following guidelines and SLAs.
* Enter and save specified text to CMS systems and files, adhering to agreed guidelines and SLAs.
* Build excellent relationships with customers and account managers.
* Facilitate credit card payments from customers who have no agreed credit limits.
* Perform ad-hoc duties or tasks as required.
* Post and allocate payments.
* Escalate queries when and where necessary.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Basic to intermediate Excel skills and good working knowledge of Outlook.
* Numerate with an excellent ability to analyse large data sets.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills are vital.
* Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
* Ability to work as part of a hard-working team to meet deadlines and targets.
