RecruitNet International is hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 - Nurse Practice Development for Nursing Homes based in Co Tipperary, Ireland. Permanent/Full-time
Responsibilities
* Make sure the patient or resident is acknowledged as an individual, and that their comfort, needs, and rights are prioritised when providing care.
* Build rapport with patients and residents to support their autonomy, well-informed choices, and evidence-based decision-making.
* Ensure the well-being of residents and patients by upholding their rights, privacy, and dignity while providing high-quality care.
* Optimise the ability of the patients/residents to exercise personal autonomy and decision-making.
* Whenever feasible, involve residents and patients in decision-making processes and support them in preserving their sense of self.
* Make sure that any specific communication needs that a patient or resident may have are noted in their individual care plan and shared with the staff.
* Assist patients and residents in making decisions regarding their medical needs, and allow their families to participate when appropriate.
* Clearly state and represent the patient's or resident's interests in cooperation with the multidisciplinary care team.
Requirements
* Minimum three years post graduate experience with a minimum of one-year experience at CNM level.
* Registered on the NMBI live register.
* Excellent Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills.
* Gerontology experience.
* Experience in Psycho Geriatric Nursing Care/Psychiatry/Adult Disabled.
