Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the construction industry. Our client is a well-established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across various sectors.
About the Role:
* Prepare, manage and track project budgets to ensure cost control and efficiency.
* Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and prepare tender and contract documents.
* Conduct cost analysis and perform risk management processes.
* Monitor project expenditures and provide detailed cost reports.
* Assess contractor claims and variations to ensure accurate valuations.
* Work closely with project managers to ensure financial control and reporting.
* Negotiate contracts and terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
* Support procurement activities by evaluating supplier quotations and pricing structures.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and verify cost-related matters.
* E nsure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of cost control, cost management, and cost reporting.
* Experience in preparing BOQs and cost planning.
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Proficiency in relevant Quantity Surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Leixlip, offering flexibility with some work-from-home options.
