We are looking for a Security Architect in the Cyber Security area for our client in the banking sector. Hands-on experience of digital service end-point definition within Web Access Firewall and load balancers is required.

The Role:
The Security Architect, Manager will be responsible for assisting the Enterprise Security Architect with the delivery of the following items:
* Expert in layered, secure network design and configuration
* Deep knowledge and understanding of service-driven end-point design and template-based standardisation, e.g. DNS naming, logical service naming and design
* Deep knowledge and design of secure, scalable, cloud inter-connectivity between bank on-premise API integration layer and cloud-based applications (e.g. Fintechs)
* Hands-on experience of digital service end-point definition within Web Access Firewall, load balancers, and network proxies, particularly NGINX, CISCO, and Citrix Netscaler Products
* Deep knowledge and understanding of virtualised and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure design
* Developing and maintaining security architecture and design standards, policies and processes, models and templates to support the overall security strategy and associated frameworks
* Developing and maintaining a security architecture process that enables the organization to develop and implement security solutions and capabilities that are clearly aligned with business, technology, and threat drivers
* Collaborating with IT Strategy & Architecture and other domain architects as well as infrastructure, application, security, and operational teams to advise and recommend on security technologies, identifying, and driving resolution on security aspects of projects and issues
* Providing expertise, direction, and oversight to operations teams when defining security controls to meet existing and future needs in response to the changing threat landscape
Lead engagement with relevant internal and external stakeholders to identify cyber and information security requirements, including company policy requirements and relevant regulatory considerations.
Define, agree, and communicate ongoing security architecture management activities associated with relevant programmes, considering the full array of relevant risks.
Requirements:
* 5-7+ years working within Information Security in a regulated industry
* Excellent knowledge of the relevant Irish and European regulatory landscape for financial services
* Highly effective at verbal and written communications, influencing at all levels, and reporting technical concepts to non-technology colleagues
* Fundamental understanding and practical experience across broad security domains
* Strong influencing capabilities
* Strong ability to build positive relationships internally and externally, in-person and virtually
* Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within an organization
* Ability to summarize technical information effectively to different constituencies such as Risk Management, Internal Audit, executive management, and technical staff, both in written and verbal forms
* Solid experience in managing complex activities
* Strong analytical ability and a fact-based approach to decision making
* The ability to multi-task, prioritise and maintain a relentless focus on driving towards a positive outcome
* Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to think creatively and laterally to solve problems
* Demonstrated ability to lead in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressures
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or relevant/equivalent industry certifications
* One or more of the following certifications: SABSA, CISSP, CCSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer, OSCP, SANS
