Project Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a busy team delivering energy audits, retrofit programmes, and carbon reduction initiatives across a variety of sectors, including public, leisure, manufacturing, and hospitality. This leadership role offers the opportunity to directly impact Ireland's low-carbon future while advancing your career.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead comprehensive energy audits and retrofit programmes for non-domestic buildings.
2. Manage project teams, resources, budgets, and timelines for audits, grant applications, and retrofits.
3. Develop and oversee Property and Portfolio-level Registers of Opportunities.
4. Design and manage retrofit projects, including cost-benefit and business case analysis.
5. Support clients with ISO implementation and energy management practices.
6. Drive carbon reduction initiatives in collaboration with client energy teams.
7. Mentor junior team members and contribute to internal training and development.
8. Lead quality improvement initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements
Essential:
9. Degree in Engineering, Energy Management, or related discipline.
10. 7+ years' professional experience in engineering, construction, or energy sectors.
11. SEAI Registered Energy Auditor or eligible for registration.
12. Proven experience in non-domestic energy auditing and retrofit projects (Ireland/UK).
13. Strong knowledge of ISO and energy efficiency regulations.
14. Commercial awareness of retrofit project design and delivery.
15. Strong leadership, project management, and client relationship skills.
16. Excellent English communication skills.
17. Full Irish driving license and own transport.
Desirable:
18. Non-Domestic BER/DEC Assessor qualification.
19. Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM).
20. Familiarity with construction and energy efficiency technologies.
21. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or GIS.
22. Understanding of retrofit grants and financial incentives.
