The Role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Sales and Logistics Coordinator to manage branch logistics and provide exceptional customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skills and experience within our industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily haulage operations for the branch
2. Coordinate multi-drop deliveries for branch lorries
3. Communicate with customers regarding delivery of timber and other products
4. Complete administrative tasks related to haulage
5. Perform Internal Sales / Trade Counter duties on a relief basis, efficiently handling customer orders and inquiries
6. Collaborate with External Sales Representatives to ensure accurate, timely processing of customer quotes and orders
7. Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures
The Person:
1. Experience in logistics coordination
2. Strong communication and organizational skills
3. Logical thinker with problem-solving abilities
4. Team player with a proactive approach
5. Self-starter with the ability to work independently
6. Proficient in IT
The Offer:
