Job Overview
For over 40 years, our client has been providing high-quality services to adults with intellectual disabilities. We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will deliver psychology services in conjunction with the Senior Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Services Manager, adhering to professional standards and guidelines.
Essential Requirements:
The Successful Candidate Must Possess:
* A recognised postgraduate qualification in clinical or counselling psychology accepted by the organisation, the Psychological Society of Ireland, and the Department of Health and Children.
* A keen interest in progressing disability services.
* A full, clean manual driving license.
The Successful Candidate Must Demonstrate:
* A commitment to ensuring high standards and striving for a person-centred service.
* Competence in delivering a professional service.
* An awareness of current professional issues.
* A clear understanding of professional ethics.
* Knowledge of research methods.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to carry out duties effectively.

* An ability to apply knowledge from best practice.
* An ability to plan and deliver support in an effective manner within a person-centred model.
* An ability to evaluate information and make appropriate decisions.
* Effective interpersonal skills, including collaboration with colleagues, families, carers, etc.
