Software Development Engineer, Aurora Limitless Database
We are seeking experienced database kernel developers to join our team in building large-scale database services in the cloud. Aurora Limitless Database combines innovative distributed database techniques with a serverless platform and heat management capabilities. Our technology automatically scales to millions of write transactions per second and manages petabytes of storage within a single database. We leverage the self-healing storage system of Aurora, a distributed and fault-tolerant database service that can scale up to 128TB in a single volume.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop software components for the relational database engine internals.
* Contribute to the development of PostgreSQL and other distributed databases.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
* Maintain and improve existing database systems.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience in database engine development within a well-known database system.
* 3+ years of professional software development experience.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
* Experience in designing system components and knowledge of PostgreSQL internals.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
* Experience in designing system components and knowledge of PostgreSQL internals.
