The Role
We're looking for a talented Senior Cloud Engineer to join their Scrum team, bringing deep expertise in architecting core software components.
Key Responsibilities
* Architect and Develop: Design, develop, and deploy high-performance distributed software systems for cloud platforms and HPC grids.
* Cloud Collaboration: Work directly with cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud to optimize EDA workloads.
* Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship, set technical direction, and drive best practices within the team.
* Quality Ownership: Own the end-to-end software component lifecycle, from design to delivery, ensuring high standards in quality and performance.
* Agile Development: Contribute to all aspects of Scrum team goals while fostering a "shift-left" testing approach.
* Innovation: Drive continuous improvement with a focus on scalability, reliability, and automation.
Requirements
* Cloud Expertise: Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying microservices and orchestration software in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
* Linux Power User: Deep expertise in Linux-based systems and administration.
* Problem Solver: A natural troubleshooter with a keen interest in understanding systems from the ground up.
* Agile Mindset: Passion for delivering customer value quickly and adapting to evolving requirements.
* (EDA/HPC Background (Preferred): Experience in Electronic Design Automation or High-Performance Computing environments.)
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
* Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and SaaS solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
* Expertise in object-oriented design and modern software development methodologies.
* Hands-on experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
* Proven track record of technical leadership in complex software projects.
* Excellent communication and mentorship skills.
