Our client, a national organisation in the social care sector, based in South Dublin, is seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join their dynamic finance team.
Reporting to the CFO, this role is pivotal in supporting strategic business decisions through the delivery of accurate financial reports and insights.

Responsibilities:
Timely preparation of monthly management reports.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with department heads.
Analyse financial performance and provide insights to support strategic planning.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, company policies, and internal controls.
Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
Collaborate with the finance team to support and develop financial operations and accuracy.
Maintain robust financial procedures and controls.
Lead the implementation of new financial systems, integration, and training.
Support the CFO and department heads in ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management accounting role with proven experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis.
Strong on P&L, Trial balance and attention to detail essential Experience in the residential care or social services sector is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intact, Zahara) and advanced Excel skills.
Experience implementing new financial systems is favourable.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
