Your new company
A specialised energy company, founded by a highly experienced management team with proven entrepreneurial, commercial, and technical success in their respective careers to date. They develop, design, construct, operate, fund and maintain multi-technology assets to enable an acceleration toward zero carbon for energy users across multiple sectors. The key values of their company are collaboration, innovation, urgency, integrity, and excellence. Due to continued growth and expansion, the company is now seeking to recruit a Business Development Representative to support sales of solar PV solutions to their impressive list of clients. Some of their clients are large energy users in the following sectors: Pharma, Cement, Dairy/Agribusiness, Distillery, Food & Beverage.
Your new role
To seek out and engage “good fit” companies through strategic prospecting. To do this, you will leverage the companies' existing leads and generate new interest through calls, emails and social media messaging. When connecting with a prospect, you will learn about their business challenges to determine whether you can serve as a solution. When you have identified a qualified prospect, your goal is to concisely communicate the value of the company and gain interest in a deeper conversation with an Account Executive. You will have a working relationship with the senior sellers and the Director of Sales & Marketing. Each day you will collaborate with the Account Executives to develop fast-paced strategies for uncovering new opportunities.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience working in the energy sector and experience in the solar industry is an advantage.
2. Sales or prospecting experience in the engineering industry.
3. An engineering background or degree.
4. A sharp focus on your goals and a strong approach to achieving them.
5. The ability to deal and address objections.
6. Strong organisational and time management skills.
What you'll get in return
1. A salary ranging from €50,000 to €55,000.
