We are seeking a Senior Sustainability Consultant to join our team at an established engineering consultancy company based in Ireland.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, assisting clients in navigating their sustainability and ESG reporting requirements, applying carbon accounting methodologies for scope 1, 2 and 3 in line with the GHG Protocol and contributing to sustainable development across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage projects of various scales and types in the areas of carbon accounting, decarbonisation strategies, ESG programmes, resource efficiency and energy optimisation.
* Analyse and present widescale ESG options and solutions to clients' senior management teams.
* Manage client relationships by providing expert guidance on sustainability matters.
* Data analysis and data management will also be key, with an ability to understand profiles and trends in data and explain these trends to non-technical people.
Requirements:
* A third level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or related discipline.
* Experience working through ISO 14064, SBTi or other similar carbon accounting standards.
* Experience with both the Social and Governance aspects of ESG.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
* Personable - build strong rapport with clients, peers and authorities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
* Highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail.
* Self-motivated and solution driven.
