Job Title: Site Operations Manager
To provide leadership in the organisation, management, monitoring and reporting of all site operations ensuring high quality work is carried out in an efficient and safe manner to specification.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage, mentor and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site.
* Liaise with site management to ensure that all project plans and schedules are delivered within set timelines by all employees and all sub-contractors.
* Manage the design team members to ensure best value, buildable solutions whilst managing program expectations from planning stage to completion.
* Manage quality and customer expectations ensuring all works comply with building regulations and other relevant standards.
Reporting Requirements:
* Bi-weekly/Monthly reporting to senior company management and directors of projects including program, H&S, quality and budget.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Translate general work requirements into prioritised plans for the crew and sub-contractors.
* Engage with and liaise with all utility providers and warranty companies.
* Manage all costs in association with Quantity Surveyors and Site Management team.
* Ensure strict compliance with drawings, specification, building regulations and good building practice.
* Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are maintained and lead continuous improvement on sites.
Qualification/Certification:
The candidate will hold and maintain all relevant and legally required certifications and authorisations associated with the industry requirements for the job and the nature of the work to be undertaken.
Skills & Abilities:
* Competence in the principles and techniques of construction site operations management.
* Excellent organising and delegating abilities.
* Ability to read and interpret maps, sketches, drawings, specifications and technical manuals.
