The Award Winning Nadur Spa at Ballygarry Estate Hotel & Spa, in the vibrant town of Tralee, currently has an exciting opportunity for a Spa Therapist to join our outstanding team!
Scope of the Role:
A spa therapist is responsible for providing professional spa treatments to clients to promote relaxation, relieve stress, and improve overall well-being.
Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring 4 star standards of service are achieved at all times.
2. Performing in a professional and courteous manner with all customers (internal & external).
3. Offering an in-depth knowledge of accommodation services and hotel services in general.
4. Ensuring all hygiene regulations are adhered to at all times.
5. Complying with statutory and legal requirements for Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene and Employment.
6. Reporting to duty on time, in the correct uniform, and wearing a name badge and Ballygarry pin.
7. Administering a variety of spa treatments such as massages, facials, body wraps, and exfoliations according to the client's preferences and needs.
8. Assessing client needs to determine the best course of treatment and ensure client safety.
9. Recommending treatment plans, products, and home care routines to help clients maintain and enhance their spa experience.
10. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene by keeping a clean and organized treatment room, ensuring all equipment and tools are sanitized and ready for use.
11. Updating records and documentation of client information, treatment sessions, products used, and any observations or recommendations made during the treatment.
12. Educating clients about various treatments, products, and their benefits.
13. Upselling and promoting spa products, services, and treatment packages to enhance client experience and potentially increase revenue for the spa.
14. Engaging in continuous education and professional development to stay up to date with new techniques, trends, and technologies in the spa industry.
15. Building client relationships by providing excellent customer service and establishing trust.
16. Following spa policies and procedures to ensure consistency in service quality and maintain a safe and professional working environment.
17. Maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.
18. Reporting maintenance issues to management as needed.
19. Adhering to safety and sanitation standards to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
20. Attending and participating in spa meetings and training.
