Key Responsibilities
* Lead technical activities for new or improved products or processes to meet strategic goals and objectives.
* Research, develop, design, and evaluate mechanical and electro-mechanical processes and equipment.
* Analyze and solve complex problems using engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
* Prepare reports, publish, and make presentations to communicate findings.
* Apply DMAIC tools to characterize, optimize, and troubleshoot process equipment and technology performance.
* Introduce new processes, equipment, and materials, including installation, calibration, EHS assessment, debug, and documentation.
* Demonstrate advanced technical expertise on process/product technologies.
* Apply knowledge of validation techniques (IQ, OQ, PQ), PFMEA's, and regulatory requirements.
* Develop and support junior engineers in writing and releasing process validation documentation.
* Cultivate internal and external resources to complete tasks and lead small project teams.
* Interact cross-functionally and with customers, providing consulting services for engineering and scientific interpretations.
* Familiarity with manufacturing processes like laser welding, adhesive bonding, leak testing is preferred.
* Experience with laser systems, laser materials processing, CNC code, CAD/CAM, and electronic implantable devices is beneficial.
Requirements:
* Hons BSc degree in Engineering or Science discipline; MSc is advantageous.
* 3+ years of experience in a similar position.
