In this role you will:
1. Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives and senior business leaders, providing guidance on AI, data science, and analytics strategies that drive business transformation.
2. Develop long-term client relationships by identifying opportunities to apply AI and data-driven insights to key business challenges, resulting in measurable outcomes.
3. Lead the development of AI and analytics roadmaps, aligning solutions with clients' strategic goals and business needs.
4. Drive the delivery of cutting-edge AI and machine learning solutions across multiple client engagements, ensuring technical excellence and practical applicability.
5. Provide thought leadership in emerging AI trends, technologies, and methodologies, helping clients adopt state-of-the-art approaches.
6. Oversee the development and deployment of machine learning models, algorithms, and data pipelines, ensuring solutions are scalable, explainable, and ethical.
7. Lead multiple, complex AI and analytics projects, ensuring successful execution from inception through to delivery.
8. Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, AI experts, consultants, and engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
9. Develop talent by providing coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities, ensuring that the team grows and maintains cutting-edge skills.
10. Collaborate with other senior leaders across the organisation to shape internal AI capabilities and ensure knowledge sharing across teams.
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
1. 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and AI, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role, ideally within a consultancy or client-facing environment.
2. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale AI and data science projects, including managing multiple senior stakeholders, including C-suite level.
3. Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across data science, engineering, and consulting functions.
4. Strong business development experience, including leading client pitches, winning new business, and expanding relationships with key stakeholders.
5. Excellent verbal/written communication & data presentation skills.
6. Expert-level knowledge of machine learning algorithms, AI technologies, and big data platforms (e.g., Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Spark).
7. Extensive experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI and data analytics.
8. Deep understanding of data governance, model explainability, AI ethics, and regulatory compliance in AI.
9. Ability to drive innovation through emerging AI technologies (e.g., NLP, computer vision, reinforcement learning).
