Our client manufactures and provides a wide range of products such as biopharmaceuticals, clinical nutrition, medical technologies, and IV medicines. They have a vacancy in the Clinical Nutrition Business Area: Enteral and Parenteral for a Sales and Marketing Assistant.
Job Purpose
Support the Clinical Nutrition Sales and Marketing Team with key communications, projects, programmes and activities to ensure success for both Enteral, Parenteral and Pharma business areas.
Main Accountabilities
1. Marketing and Sales Support Accountabilities
o Keep an inventory of product literature and branding items and ensure timely distribution of that literature to meetings, exhibitions and the sales team.
o Ensure Product Managers are aware when stocks fall below an agreed level.
o Manage the ordering and distribution of product samples for the sales team.
o Provide general administration as required which includes, preparing reports, preparing presentations, preparation of sales data, sending samples/literature to customers/patients, organising exhibitions, organising training days, organising travel itineraries and other administrative support tasks.
2. Marketing Material Development and Management
o Support Product Managers with the development, approval and printing of campaigns, leave pieces, letters, product literature and support items for as directed by Product Managers.
o Manage job bag approval processes for materials with Product Managers and all relevant UK stakeholders.
o Support development and management of e-resources and websites, keeping these updated in line with guidance from Product Managers.
3. Pricing Administration
o Support the Marketing and Sales Assistant with updating and maintain all product pricing with Movianto NI & Uniphar/Allphar for our client.
4. Events Co-ordination
o Proactively assist with arranging various promotional and educational meetings/events based both internally and externally and inform those taking part, arrange venues, travel itineraries, accommodation and refreshments (if appropriate). This will include international meetings/symposiums/conferences.
o Complete the relevant tasks/paperwork required to ensure the marketing team comply with the process for interactions with HCPs, HCOs and patients.
o Assist with the co-ordination of meetings/seminars and market research focus groups, where required.
5. Marketing and Sales Budget and General Support
o Assist the Sales and Marketing team in budget management, including accurate raising of purchase orders and accurate coding of invoices.
o Raise, record and dispatch cheque requisitions, as directed.
o Co-ordinate movements diary for the Marketing Department.
o Organise flight and hotel bookings for the Sales and Marketing team as directed.
o Organise and control visitors requirements i.e. lunch, accommodation etc.
o Monitor actions pending on Kabitrack and provide assisting in closing down actions where possible.
6. PN stock/EN referrals
o Manage the daily hospital Parenteral Nutrition orders and completion of relevant paperwork for authorities.
o Using appropriate calculation tools, assist supply chain with setting the inventory levels to meet the expected forecast/usage levels, ensuring safety stock levels are maintained.
o Liaise closely with Allphar and Speedex to ensure timely delivery of product to the point of use.
o Triage Nursing home HCP referrals and organise consultant to review the patients and complete appropriate trackers.
o Manage, co-ordinate and follow up on all customer related queries/complaints received in an efficient and timely manner.
