What is the Role?
Our UAT Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of the Keystone Programme, taking responsibility for managing, leading and coordinating all User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. Keystone is a major transformation programme which involves the implementation of a new integrated billing and CRM system into the SSE Airtricity supply business. The role involves working with cross-functional teams to validate that the new system meets business requirements, ensuring a smooth transition into production. In this role you will:
- Develop a comprehensive UAT strategy aligned with the project timeline and objectives, defining the scope, objectives, entry and exit criteria, and success metrics for UAT
- Oversee the creation of detailed UAT test cases and scripts in partnership with business stakeholders and testers
- Build and manage a UAT team comprising business users, process owners, and testers
- Coordinate and manage the execution of UAT activities, ensuring adherence to the agreed schedule
- Communicate UAT progress, issues, and risks to the Keystone Programme Manager and other key stakeholders
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would like you to have:
- Proven experience in leading UAT or quality assurance activities for large-scale system implementations
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including test case creation, execution, and defect management
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
