Rosderra Irish Meats are seeking enthusiastic operatives for its large processing plant in Roscrea.
Full training will be provided however the successful candidate’s must be proactive, good communicators, English speaking, have a willingness to learn and have some understanding of quality and hygiene.
The successful candidates will work as part of the factory processing team producing meat to fulfil production targets on a daily and weekly basis. This role is essential for delivering high quality products to our customers by utilising employees skill base. Successful candidates will be required to:
Work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Have excellent knife skills and in-depth knowledge of the butchery trade. Must have the ability to fully separate and trim all cuts at maximum line-speed.
Have an understanding of product/customer specification and possess the ability to meet these specifications while managing high volumes and challenging production targets.
Medium to light demanding role including lifting and standing.
In addition to skilled knife use, knifeperson must be able to operate saws, and other equipment to perform meat cutting.
