About the Role
Monks have a position for a talented Senior Production Designer for a 12-month fixed-term contract who wants to further their skills in digital asset and content design at our Dublin office. In this senior-level role, you will join a dedicated global team in producing top-quality content for the product interfaces of one of the world’s most recognisable brands.
Responsibilities:
1. In this role, you’ll specialise in the design of static visuals for a wide variety of channels, including product interfaces, social media, and display advertising.
2. You work as part of a dedicated global team of designers, illustrators, animators, editors, and art directors that produces world-class work across time zones.
3. The job is about harmonising speed, style, and scale to produce loads of good-looking assets at a steady pace.
4. Pixel perfectness is important. You safeguard quality at all times and work together with QA testers.
5. In addition to making images look so good you'll want to lick them, you make sure that designs adhere to guidelines and are consistent across ad formats, dimensions and languages.
6. You will work together directly with art directors on the client side, representing Monks from a design POV.
About You
The essentials:
7. For this role, we’re looking for a designer with around 6 years of experience crafting digital ads and assets.
8. You have solid Photoshop and Illustrator skills. Sketch skills are a bonus.
9. You need to master the art of silhouetting and additional retouching skills are a plus.
10. You know how to keep your files, layers and folders super-organised, even if you’re a creative mess outside of Photoshop.
11. You can take charge of tasks independently, collaborate with clients and proactively lead projects.
12. You can contribute to different stages of the production process; from setting styles and layouts to cutting formats and language versioning.
13. Creating balanced and beautiful layouts is your second nature.
14. You are always on the lookout for process efficiencies.
15. You can handle repetitive tasks and stay focussed.
16. You are well-versed production tricks, and cat videos.
17. You are a clear communicator and are happy to work with designers from all over the world.
