This is a full-time permanent position, working 5 days over 7 days, Monday to Sunday.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the timely action of all enquiries according to our brand standards, providing information for guests, selling and co-ordinating in-house activities and selling the beauty of Ballyfin in order to convert bookings.
A large part of this role will be seamlessly arranging all guest requests, including anticipating requirements to ensure all guests have a memorable stay at Ballyfin.
Main duties include (but are not limited to);
Respond to all telephone & email inquiries received To actively action all individual and group reservations Proactively convert enquires to sales Offering the best possible advice to guests on the House and Demesne. Have a good knowledge of local and national places of interest. Assisting guests with all Demesne activities. Assist the Butlers on welcoming guests, i.e.
greet cars/guests from front steps, welcome to house, brief tour etc Prepare the daily function sheets and attend the daily operational meetings Responisble for the stock taking and ordering of items for our on-site shop To ensure that all relevant data is collected in advance of guest visit and communicated to relevant department heads This is a busy and diverse role where attention to detail and exceptional customer service is crucial.
