Senior Financial Analyst Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in the finance team, focusing on project costs, financial reporting, and strategic business decisions.
Key Objectives:
* Manage and maintain cost reporting to support ongoing programme cost management.
* Prepare and submit financial support documents to meet project milestones.
* Collaborate with key business units to produce necessary support workings in line with project agreement milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain accurate cost reporting and provide insightful analysis to support financial decision-making.
* Collaborate with various business units to prepare the required financial documentation for project milestones.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial support for the completion of project tasks.
* Provide reporting on project variances and support budget adjustments.
* Act as a liaison with key internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries.
Knowledge & Experience:
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Qualified accountant with large firm experience (preferably but not mandatory).
* Experience in industries such as construction, telecommunications, or utilities is an advantage.
Requirements: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to adapt in uncertain environments, excellent communication skills, and experience in producing financial reports that support decision-making.
