If you are interested in sales and have experience in Agriculture, Plant Machinery, or Mechanical Engineering, we would like to hear from you. Due to significant growth, we are recruiting for a Trainee Sales Executive to join our growing team. This role will report to our Managing Director with a focus on sales and growing our existing market share.
This role is a permanent, full-time position that will involve a significant amount of travel.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Generate and manage new and existing customer base focusing primarily on target markets such as agriculture, plant machinery, and mechanical, providing expert product knowledge to customers leading to eventual sales.
2. Build and develop relationships with commercial partners, increasing market share in existing markets and maximizing new business development opportunities.
3. Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets to the senior management team.
4. Manage and maintain company sales materials inclusive of brochures and strategically placed adverts to develop and enhance customer product information and branding.
5. Effectively and efficiently handle any customer complaints and warranty issues that arise to resolution.
6. Monitor and measure customer satisfaction.
7. Responsible for reporting daily and at weekly senior management team meetings on events, new business prospects, proposals, and secured orders.
8. Manage and maintain customer contact portfolio and report to the Company Director.
Keys Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required:
1. Demonstrable experience ideally from an agricultural, mechanical engineering, or plant machinery background.
2. Truck license is required.
3. Some overnight stays are required for this role.

1. Demonstrable business relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills.
2. Demonstrate high-level ability of prospecting, negotiating, and achieving excellent customer service satisfaction.
3. Self-motivator with a can-do, hands-on approach.
