Our client is Ireland's leading civil & structural engineering consultancy.
You will be working with senior colleagues on the delivery of major structural projects.
You will be responsible for the technical, managerial and commercial aspects, which involves client relationship management, planning and managing project resources, and overseeing compliance with the Company's Quality Management System and Health and Safety practices.
Responsibilities: Undertake career planning and arrange for effective mentoring and training of employees.
Offer pro-active advice in relation to problem-solving issues.
Manage client relationships and business development.
Requirements: Minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience in engineering consultancy.
Understanding of engineering principles and a strong technical focus.
Design abilities to provide robust and economical solutions in concrete, steel, timber, masonry, etc.
Significant base of IT skills including structural design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, SCIA, TEDDS suite, CADS suite, STRAP, etc.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.
Understanding of the Irish regulatory and policy issues.
The ability to work closely in partnership with clients, contractors, and other members of design teams.
Strong communication skills both oral and written.
A positive, proactive approach with an ability to adapt to changing scenarios.
