Job Description
1. Work with supervisors and planner to ensure customer orders are delivered as per the required lead time according to the given promise date.
2. Follow up on all priority orders with supervisors to ensure required delivery dates are being met.
3. Ensure quality systems and procedures are followed to achieve required quality standards; analyze route cases and provide required corrective actions for failures.
4. Work with planners and supervisors to improve machine and personnel utilization to increase production output, resulting in high UEE and UPLH.
5. Provide required technical and administrative support to achieve sampling lead time and quality.
6. Ensure better material utilization and drive productivity savings projects to achieve targeted productivity savings and scrap levels.
7. Drive TPM in the department and collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure machines are up to standard for continuous production.
8. Support departmental manager to develop A3 aligned with Operations OGSM and implement best practices from other global sites through departmental A3 to bridge the gap with global benchmark levels in all OGSM metrics.
9. Drive multi-skilling projects to improve skill levels of operators and staff within the department and across other departments.
10. Lead all ELS projects in the department and engage in cross-functional projects to achieve continuous improvement across the organization.
11. Promote PDCA culture by analyzing and providing required actions systematically to overcome all short and long-term problems within the department.
12. Ensure all health and safety requirements are followed within the department and provide required awareness to department members.
13. Ensure proper housekeeping and discipline within the department.
14. Actively participate in other cross-functional activities within the organization.
15. Lead one shift and execute the planned output.
Qualifications
B.Sc. in Industrial & Production Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in relevant fields.
Very good leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are required.
Sound understanding of the production process is essential.
Shifting duty is mandatory for this role.
