This role involves leading the day-to-day operation of security services across a contract, ensuring a high quality of service is delivered at all times.
Purpose of the Job
We are seeking an enthusiastic and efficient Team Lead to work for our client in Kilkenny. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and leading a team of security personnel.
Responsibilities
* Manage and lead a team of security personnel, including their development and training.
* Maintain effective communication links with colleagues within the site team and across other client sites.
* E nsure the smooth running of the site(s) adhering to the Site Service Level Agreement and Services Specification.
* Organize relief/holiday cover for security staff as required.
* Monitor activities, visitors to the site, CCTV, and deal with alarm activations in line with procedures.
* Answer telephone calls, screen/direct calls, manage messages.
* Meet and greet persons entering the organization.
* Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization.
* Conduct access control, logging vehicle registration numbers, scanning/conducting searches, reviewing documentation presented by 3rd parties on site, checking tagging systems, and issuing/retrieving temporary ID cards.
* Daily and other reporting in line with procedure, and any additional duties requested by the Contract Manager.
Requirements
* Hold a valid PSA Licence.
* Have at least five years relevant experience.
* Strong knowledge and skill of administrative and clerical procedures.
* Strong knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
* Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
* Full clean driving licence required.
