We are presently recruiting a Senior Construction Project Manager for our clients to work on contracts nationwide for our Kerry-based clients. You will have worked on private and public projects and will have at least 7 years’ experience in total. You will excel at liaising with Clients on an ongoing basis to ensure expectations are being met and will have previous experience of liaising with local authorities and relevant State agencies and departments. This is a full-time, permanent position with our Kerry-based client.
Duties within post:
1. Project design brief and design development, coordination of design team and other consultants.
2. Coordination and management of any levies and development contributions.
3. Manage compliance statements, commencement notices, Assigned and Ancillary certifier appointments.
4. Manage all aspects of Construction phase delivery of projects.
5. Managing HS&E and coordinating the PSDP and PSCS roles and responsibilities.
6. Detailed programming of works and production of project execution plans.
7. Recording progress and managing design changes.
8. Produce subcontractor, material, labour, plant and prelim schedules and trackers.
9. Procure contractors, materials, labour, plant and prelim.
10. Manage and monitor project progress, quality and compliance with building regulations.
11. Managing utility provider appointments and designs.
12. Managing BCAR documentation and certifications.
13. Site Taking in Charge procedure and hand over to Local Authorities.
Skills, qualifications and experiences:
1. 7+ years’ experience.
2. Degree qualified in Project Management/Civil Engineering (or similar).
3. Project management & delivery experience within a safety-critical environment.
4. Full Clean Driving License.
5. Proven ability to lead teams and manage Contractors.
Salary is open to negotiation and based on experience.
