Based in one of our leading South Dublin practices, this position will involve delivery of quality accounting, audit, and taxation compliance services to an extensive client base. The role will involve all normal duties associated with a progressive and developing small practice.
Your Role
* Liaising closely with clients, providing timely advice and service.
* Providing services in areas such as audit, taxation, accountancy, and business advisory.
* Preparing and reviewing financial statements.
* Preparing month end management accounts to deadlines.
* Responsibility for managing the successful completion of audit assignments for Partner review.
* Researching and resolving technical queries from clients.
* Preparation of Company Secretarial Returns.
* Preparing Corporation Tax Returns.
* Assisting with Income Tax Returns and meeting the ROS deadline for filing of same.
* Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff.
* Working on ad-hoc assignments from time to time.
The ideal candidate
* ACA, ACCA, CPA qualified accountant with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a small or medium Irish accountancy practice.
* Strong experience in dealing with all areas of general practice.
* Excellent experience in leading Audit assignments.
* Proven organisational and communication skills to meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in software packages for accountancy practices.
