Role overview
This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven individual to establish and lead the new Dublin office for Drees & Sommer. In this important leadership role, you will have the full backing and resources of the wider Drees & Sommer organisation to shape the strategic direction and growth of the Irish business.
With a large number of global clients to develop in Ireland and existing projects ongoing in the region, this is a great time to set up an office in Dublin and become the go-to provider for clients in this market. You will have extensive support from the European and UK board, who are committed to making the Dublin office a success and will empower you to put your own stamp on the business.

Key responsibilities
* Lead the set-up and development of the new Dublin office for Drees & Sommer.
* Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to grow the company's presence and client base in Ireland.
* Establish strong relationships with key clients in the real estate, data centre, automotive, logistics, semiconductor and life sciences sectors.
* Identify and secure new project opportunities, leading the bid and proposal process.
* Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
* Build and lead a team of multi-disciplinary professionals, including project managers, quantity surveyors, building surveyors, engineers and specialist consultants.
* Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
* Collaborate closely with the European and UK leadership team to align the Dublin office's strategy with the broader Drees & Sommer group.
Required qualifications and experience
* Extensive experience in a leadership role within a built environment consultancy, preferably in the real estate, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
* Chartered status in one of the following disciplines: Chartered Engineer, MCIOB, MAPM, SCSI or MRICS.
* Proven track record in business development, client relationship management, and delivering complex projects.
* Strong technical expertise in one or more of the following areas: Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or Engineering.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to think strategically and develop a compelling vision for the Dublin office.
* Entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to make a significant impact on the business.
