Job Description:
Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork is seeking to hire an experienced Chef de Partie to join its busy kitchen.
Full time permanent position.
39 hours per week.
Applicants must have 2 years chef experience, be experienced in professional cookery, and have experience working in a busy kitchen.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Working on a section of the kitchen during service.
2. Making sure food is of the right quality and is produced on time for customers.
3. Help managing stock.
4. Assisting the head chef and other senior chefs during service.
5. Helping with the kitchen health and hygiene procedures.
6. Cooking food to order.
7. Moving around different sections of the kitchen – larder, pastry, meats, fish etc.
Salary: 30,000 Euro per annum.
