About The Role
Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:
1. Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and washing surfaces in designated areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
2. Empty waste bins and dispose of trash and recyclable materials appropriately. Keep waste storage areas organised and clean.
3. Ensure that restrooms are clean, well-stocked, and sanitary. Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
4. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors, including carpets and hard surfaces. May be required to use floor polishers, buffers, and carpet cleaning equipment.
5. Monitor and report any security or safety concerns, such as broken locks, leakages, or potential hazards, to appropriate personnel.
6. Keep track of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished. Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
7. Maintain outdoor areas, including sidewalks, parking lots, and entryways, by clearing debris, snow, or ice.
8. Provide assistance during events and functions, including setting up and cleaning event spaces before and after use.
9. Coordinate with other staff members and departments to ensure smooth operations and address any facility-related issues promptly.
10. Follow proper safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
11. Interact courteously and professionally with building occupants, visitors, and guests, and assist them with any inquiries or requests, as needed.
12. Assist in preparation guest bedrooms and public areas to the required standard.
