Our client, a global business management company, is currently hiring Finance & Accounting Specialists to join their team.
This role will join the existing CHC team in Dublin, providing additional support to the CHC entities.
Responsibilities
1. Supervise and participate in the General Ledger processes including:
2. Reconciliation and analysis of accounts
3. Internal Controls (Sarbanes Oxley)
4. Preparation of dividend accounting
5. Tax accounting and reporting
6. Preparing statutory supporting document preparation (e.g. dividend overview)
7. Preparing monthly & quarterly VAT declarations
8. Review BuyNow parameters and support procurement process
9. Liaising with Global Tax Group, Intercompany Group, and local Controllerships on various finance matters
10. Develop in-depth knowledge of tools and applications
11. Develop knowledge and understanding of performance metrics and strive to meet and exceed them
12. Other ad hoc duties as required
Skills
1. Analytical and computer skills, preferably MS Office
2. Competent with Excel and Access
3. Communication and interpersonal skills
4. Positive attitude and flexibility
5. Customer focused
6. Sense of responsibility, initiative, and high-quality work standards
7. Strong team working skills
8. Prior experience of SAP is an advantage
9. Fluency in English is required
Qualifications/Experience
1. Degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent qualification is preferable.
2. Min. 3+ years’ experience in an accounting environment
3. Professionally qualified or pursuing qualification - ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or relevant experience
