I am currently working with a long term manufacturing client in Ennis who are currently looking to appoint a new Finance Manager to oversee their Finance Function. Reporting to the General Manager in Ennis and also the Financial Controller based in the USA, the Finance Manager will spearhead the Finance function and will also manage a team of 3 others. This role is based fully on site in Ennis. Please see below some of the responsibilities and some requirements in order to be successful in this process. THE ROLE: * Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes. * Preparation of Monthly Variance, P&L and Balance Sheet for Group consolidation, and internal commercial reporting purposes. * Cash management and treasury duties, liaising and engaging with Group Treasury function and external banks. * Ensuring compliance with all accounting, tax and legal requirements. * Developing and improving systems and controls on an on-going basis. * Leading and developing the finance team. * Provides financial leadership and financial support to various company functions, teams and departments * Monitors actual and forecasted cost and revenues (on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis). * Communicates and provides direction to Business Managers about financial trends and their business implications. * Provides decision support to various stakeholders (operations, site, project teams, functions). * Preparation and delivery of annual budget and forecasts * Support Financial Awareness and CI/LIFE Initiatives across the site. * Any other ad hoc duties as required by the business REQUIREMENTS: * Fully Qualified Accountant ACCA, CIMA, ACA etc * 8+ years senior experience as a Finance Manager or similar * Manufacturing environments is highly deisrable. * Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with senior management / stakeholders. Confident in interfacing with and challenging senior personnel. * Must be technically astute with hands on experience gained in a dynamic business environment.
