My client, a Galway City based financial service organisation are seeking a proficient Data & Client Reporting Manager to lead our internal reporting function, oversee our data lifecycle and liaise with all stakeholders to meet both internal and external reporting needs. This role is a permanent, full-time position based in Galway reporting directly to senior management, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures, driving effective reporting and data management strategies and responding to changes in reporting requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead and supervise the reporting, data and system management team, taking responsibility for their work prioritisation, motivation, performance and productivity.
2. Coordinate and oversee BAU production of reports per contracted service levels and in accordance with regulatory standards.
3. Manage data flow on multiple systems including onboarding and offboarding of data, ensuring core processes and functionality are maintained or improved upon.
4. Perform testing and validation checks to identify any gaps or anomalies and maintain data integrity.
5. Collaborate closely with the business managers and developer teams (internal, group and service provider) to address gaps in reporting and respond to change requests as they arise.
6. Act as senior point of contact for internal and external data and reporting queries.
REQUIREMENTS:
7. Proven experience as a Data and Reporting Manager or in a similar role (minimum 7 years relevant experience).
8. Knowledge of Irish financial regulatory reporting requirements.
9. Possess a 3rd level qualification in Analysis, Information Technology or similar discipline (or exhibit equivalent experience).
10. Display expertise in utilising reporting software and tools.
11. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
12. Strong knowledge of data and information management and data quality standards.
13. Present a meticulous mindset, coupled with strong organisational and time management abilities.
14. Ability to collaborate harmoniously with cross-functional teams and senior management.
